Account dashboard and onboarding

Contributor accounts are reviewed identities with dashboarded approval, verification, role, and submission-readiness gates.

Accounts may be used for subscribers, volunteers, community contributors, photographers, column writers, freelancers, and other approved roles. Subscriber accounts can support reader services and moderated comments; publication submissions require an approved contributor role. Account approval is limited to the approved role and does not bypass editorial review for submitted material.

Identity and contactApplicants provide a real name, public display name, email, affiliation, location, and role context as applicable.

Documents where neededThe newsroom may request ID, credential evidence, portfolio links, releases, assignment letters, or other materials before approval.

Terms evidenceAcceptance records are kept for account terms, submission terms, contributor agreements, privacy terms, contract acknowledgement, and unpaid status.

Gopsco Secure boundaryAccount creation and public intake use server-side challenge verification where configured, with a local continuity fallback only outside the contracted verifier path.
