The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is experiencing an outbreak of Bundibugyo virus disease (BVD) in Ituri, Nord-Kivu (North Kivu), and Sud-Kivu (South Kivu) provinces. CDC recommends avoiding nonessential travel to these provinces.
